In a video released by the BCCI, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh shared the story behind the entertaining clip. He explained that Morkel had a unique way of ending practice sessions.
According to Arshdeep, Morkel would announce, “The moment our practice session ends, I will have a last move, and I will pin you. Thereafter, there will be no practice.” This playful wrestling match became Morkel's innovative method for calling it a day. "He has found a new way to call off the day, and he was just showing us that," Arshdeep added.
The Indian team currently trails 0-1 in the five-match series after a loss at Headingley. England successfully chased down a target of 371 runs on the final day of the first Test, winning by five wickets.
Furthermore, there's ongoing discussion about Jasprit Bumrah's participation in the series, with workload management potentially limiting him to three out of the five games.
