The 2025 US Open, the final Grand Slam of the tennis season, is set to begin on Sunday, August 24, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. With a revamped 15-day schedule, the hard courts of Flushing Meadows will once again host the world’s top players, each vying for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
In men’s singles, Italy’s Jannik Sinner returns as the defending champion, aiming to secure back-to-back US Open victories. He faces stiff competition from a star-studded field, including Carlos Alcaraz, the 2022 champion known for his explosive style, Novak Djokovic, a perennial hard-court threat, and Alexander Zverev, whose powerful baseline game can turn matches in his favour.
